Rummikub is the kind of game that quietly sits on the table looking harmless until somebody rearranges nearly everything in play to make one brilliant move.
You are building numbered runs and groups, but the real fun comes from being able to rearrange the combinations already on the table. Suddenly a move that looked impossible becomes possible, and everyone starts looking at the tiles a little more carefully.
It is a fantastic multi-generational rental because it feels simple enough for families while still giving adults plenty of strategy. It is especially good for a relaxed morning, rainy afternoon, or evening where everyone wants something thoughtful without committing to a huge game.
