Star Wars: Outer Rim

WHY RENT THIS ONE

Why it's worth a spot on your weekend

“Some heroes save the galaxy. Others just want to get paid.”

Not every hero in Star Wars wears a cape. Some fly questionable ships, take jobs from people they probably should not trust, collect bounties, and occasionally have to make a very fast exit. Outer Rim lets your group step into that side of the galaxy and build your own scoundrel story.

You will travel across the galaxy, take jobs, hunt bounties, upgrade your ship, meet familiar characters, and build your reputation while competing to become the most legendary name in the Outer Rim. The best part is that every game can tell a completely different story. One player might become a famous bounty hunter while another spends the whole game making increasingly questionable business decisions.

This is a fantastic weekend rental for Star Wars fans who want something bigger and more adventurous than a quick card game. Grab some snacks, clear the table, and let the cantina music play in your head. Han Solo would probably approve. Probably.

Good to know

  • Table space

Needs a decent-sized table — a coffee table will not do it.

  • Reading load

Some reading, but not enough to slow the game down.

  • Getting knocked out

Nobody gets knocked out. Everyone plays to the last turn.

  • Pausing mid-game

Easy to pause. If someone has to step out, the table survives.

  • Setup time

About 15 minutes of setup before anyone touches a piece.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Renting, answered

Can I rent Star Wars: Outer Rim near Plattekill?

Yes — Star Wars: Outer Rim is part of the Deep Space Family Games game shelf, available to rent by the night around Plattekill and the wider Hudson Valley area. Roughly 30 minutes out from Plattekill in every direction — delivery and local pickup only. Nothing to walk into.

Is requesting Star Wars: Outer Rim a real reservation?

No — every button on this page is a request, not a booking. Deep Space Family Games doesn't run live availability, so we confirm by hand once you tell us you want Star Wars: Outer Rim and when.

What happens if a piece from Star Wars: Outer Rim goes missing?

Star Wars: Outer Rim, like every game on the shelf, is counted against a written list before it goes out and again when it comes back, so a missing piece is a conversation with a number behind it, not a guess.
