How the renting part works

Games start at $8 a night, each. Delivery is charged per trip, a flat $12 each way — out and back are two trips, so two fees. That fee covers the whole trip no matter how many games are on it, which is why renting three at once costs a lot less per game than renting one. You can also collect and return a rental yourself, by appointment both ways, and pay no delivery at all.

A rental night is out after 10am, back before 10am the next day.. Longer than that is a weekend rate, and it is priced per game rather than per night — the ones that have a weekend rate show it above.

There's no deposit on a rental right now. The pieces are still counted against a written list before a game goes out and again when it comes back, so a missing piece is a conversation with a number behind it rather than an argument.

One thing worth being straight about: sending a request is not the same as booking. We do not run live availability — what you see here is as fresh as the last time we updated the list. You tell us what you want and when, and we come back and confirm whether that copy is free.
