Waitlist

Three different shelf statuses all lead here: a game that’s currently out with someone else, one that’s on its way back to us, or one we haven’t bought yet. In every case the button reads “join the waitlist” rather than anything that implies a live booking, because none of those are — the site doesn’t run real-time availability, so what you see is only as fresh as the last time the list was updated.

Joining the waitlist means telling us what you want and when, and we write back to confirm whether it’s actually free. For titles we don’t own yet, the waitlist does double duty: enough requests for the same game is how we decide what Jessica buys next.
