Not Stocked

A handful of games on the shelf are titles we don’t actually own yet — listed on purpose, so the site works as a real request list instead of just whatever happens to already be in the house. A not-stocked title never shows a nightly rate, because there isn’t one to charge yet; the button says “add to the waitlist” instead of “request this game,” and it stays that way until a copy is actually on the shelf.

The point isn’t to pad the list — a shelf that’s mostly games we don’t own would be the padded “500+ titles” catalogue this business is deliberately not offering. It stays a small, honest minority, and every request against one of these titles is effectively a vote for what gets bought next.
