Game Shelf

“The Shelf” is the page at /shelf/, and it’s the whole catalog — every board, card and dice game we currently rent out, plus a handful of titles we don’t own yet but will buy if enough people ask for one. It works exactly like a real shelf would: browse it, see what’s actually free, and pick something.

The “virtual” part matters because there’s no showroom behind it. Nothing to walk into and nowhere to browse a shelf in person — every listing you see online is the same one we’re checking before a delivery goes out, kept current instead of decorative. A game shows as available, out, or on its way back based on the same status we’d tell you over the phone.
