Find what you want
Everything we have is on the list — board games mostly, plus card games, dice games and a few puzzles. Pick as many as you want.

Request it
Send us the titles. It's a request, not an instant booking: we check the copy is actually free and write back to confirm, or put you on the waitlist for it.

Sort out the handover
We agree how long you're keeping it, and whether we drive it out or you arrange a pickup. Either way it's by appointment, both directions.

Play, then return it
Blockbuster rules on a single night: out after 10am, back before 10am the next day. Longer bookings are fine — just say so when you request.

Deep Space Family Games is Jessica's, run out of Plattekill with her family behind it. We're a neurodivergent household, kids included, and the games get played here before they go on the list.
That isn't a slogan, it's why the details are the way they are. We know which games get loud, which ones need twenty minutes of setup before anyone touches a piece, and which ones survive someone needing to leave the table for a bit. You pick what you want — we just make sure you know what you're picking.

You know what you are getting before it arrives
Every listing carries the box facts — players, play time, the age on the lid. Where playing it taught us something the box doesn't say, that goes on there too.

Tested by actual kids
Ours, mostly. A game that reads beautifully and dies at a real table with real seven-year-olds does not make the list.

Cheat sheets, where they earn their keep
The official rulebook always comes in the box. On some of the heavier titles we've also written a quick-reference sheet, so nobody is re-reading twelve pages mid-game.

Some boxes come sorted
A few of the bigger games travel with an organizer tray we bought for them, so setup is not fifteen minutes of sorting cubes into piles.
WHERE WE DELIVER
Close enough that we can come back for the box.
We run out of Plattekill and cover roughly thirty minutes in every direction — the towns either side of the river, up toward New Paltz, and down through the Marlboro and Newburgh side. Delivery is a flat $12 each way anywhere inside that radius — same number whichever side of it you're on — and it covers however many games are on the trip. Prefer to collect and return it yourself instead? That works too, by appointment both ways, and there's no radius on it at all — we don't care how far you're coming from if you're the one driving. We don't ship anywhere.
The driving is done in our own car, and it's electric — it charges in the driveway overnight, with plenty of range to spare. The radius isn't about how far the car can go; it's about keeping the drive itself reasonable for us, which is exactly why the delivery fee stays flat instead of creeping up the farther out you are.
